The Study of Poetry will not only instruct and delight the students but also inspire them to have positivity, creativity and a new way of thinking. After the study of this paper, the student will be able

·        to identify, interpret, analyze and appreciate the various elements of poetry

·        to develop literary intellect and

·        to appreciate the lyrical and sonorous quality of language
